Double D Burger in Gainesville

My work day doesn't go smoothly without my daily breakfast from Double D!!

First visit to Double D today. Nice interior, clean and pleasant. Staff was very nice and efficient. Burger was pretty good, nice size and weight to the beef patties. Would have liked just a bit more seasoning of the beef. Fries were a good sized portion, but could also use just a bit more seasoning. Very happy with the drink size, and the overall value of the meal.

Absolutely a great place for breakfast, lunch & dinner everything's pretty much made from scratch which is great.

Wow the best hamburgers in Gainesville. They are delicious come on by and try them ,they are mouth watering. I should know been going there for year's.

They have great food. You can get a meat / veggie plate. A burger or hamburger steak plate.

I had their deluxe cheese burger with slaw. It was just moist enough for where the bread was still edible without a fork. The slaw was good enough to where ketchup and mayo was not needed. I will be back soon.

Now that's a good quality burger! Double cheese and added egg with free bacon 😁

Best burgers anywhere around! Always friendly people, always good service. Sometimes can be a bit pricey, but you cant beat their burgers. They also have a buffet bar that is al a carte.

Hamburgers are good little to high in price,but the onion rings were undercooked,and too hot in there need air

First time trying, went through the drive-thru. It took a bit longer than anticipated, but everyone was nice and the food was great. I ordered two sides of fries and got just one bag, but the portion was well sized, so I couldn't complain. I'd be glad to visit again to try some of their other meals.

Was not impressed. Server did not use heathly handing practices.

First time there,not impressed at all had to sit at a dirty table first off and when the burger came it was very dry and the French fries are just plain nasty,would not reccomend this place at all,might as well go to mcdonalds.

Absolutely delicious burgers. My step dad used to always love going here before he passed away. Ate there a few days ago for the first time in years. Best burgers around! Just wish they stayed open a little later, as I’m hardly ever in Gainesville until after 2:30pm when they’re already closed.

I ordered a double cheese burger that had to have been a pound. The burger was juicy and flavorful. My only negative is that lettuce and tomatoes were not included.

Fair hamburgers. Fries are little Bland and Soggy. Restrooms could use some work.

I've lived in the East Hall area for years I grew up eating at Double D's. I absolutely love this place. Now that I live in Florida it's almost impossible to find the kind of Southern breakfast and lunch that's served here. I always make a point to stop in to Double D's when I visit home. The people and the food are just wonderful.

Though this place isn't much to look at, it does have some of the best burgers around. Worth the trip. Also, so nice to always walk in somewhere and the staff can get to know the customers, because the staff is regular. I don't see a lot of new faces, which in my experience, means they may be taking care of their people??? I hope that's the case :)

Huge fan, great food

I have gone through the drive thru once or twice before, and the food was fine. This is the first time I've gone inside. I was greeted with smiling hello's. It's kinda like a buffet in that you pick and choose what you want under the glass or on a billboard. The check out was easy and friendly. The food was HOT and good. This is a good place to bring a family. It's clean and has a family friendly atmosphere.

Good burgers that what we had. But they also have a meat vegetable and dessert line you can pick off of. Would reccomend

Great food. So much better than big chain stores. The staff was nice and got us through the line quickly, despite being very busy. Burgers where very juicy and cooked very well. Fries where great, too.
